I was in prison. Everyone, even some family members, told me I would never get my children back and that I should agree to let someone else adopt them.
Rebecca told me there is a time to negotiate a settlement and a time to fight, and this was my time to fight. I believed in her and she believed in me.
Through some amazing lawyering in a rough trial, she convinced a Judge to give me another chance. I am out of prison now.
My kids are coming home to me and I get to be a Dad. It wouldn’t be happening without her knowledge of the system, and her willingness to believe in a man and see the potential that no one else could see at the time.
I will be forever grateful.
