Brandi Becker is an east coast native who fell in love with the beauty of Oregon upon her first visit. She obtained her Bachelor of Science Degree in Political Science from the University of Tennessee in 2004. In 2006, she received her Juris Doctor from Stetson University College of Law.
Brandi began her career at the Public Defender’s office in the 10th Circuit of Florida, where she represented indigent clients facing incarceration. Brandi has represented a vast array of criminal charges from low level misdemeanors to life felonies. She zealously advocated for her clients, conducting countless hearings and jury trials.
In 2010, Brandi opened her own law office, where she continued to represent criminal clients in both Florida and Tennessee. At that time, she expanded her practice to include juvenile and family law. Here she gained valuable experience in a wide variety of family law and juvenile matters including juvenile delinquency, custody challenges, restraining orders, and DCS intricacies. She also sat as a magistrate overseeing troubled youth for the Bradley County Campus Court.
Brandi’s passion for trial work coupled with her dedication to helping others led her to Schaleger Philpott, PC where she will be diligently working to assist our clients in navigating the intricacies of family and criminal law.
Brandi is a member of the Oregon, Tennessee and Florida bars. She is a member of the Oregon criminal Defense Lawyers Association and Multnomah bar association. Outside of the office, Brandi sits on the board of the Greater4All foundation which focuses on housing solutions and rehabilitation efforts for those in need. She also enjoys travel, spending time at the beach and long walks with her dog, Piper.
