Brittany was born and raised in Alaska. She ventured south in 2009 to explore the lower 48 and has been enchanted by Oregon ever since. Searching for a career to fulfill her love of research and writing, she earned an ABA accredited Associates Degree in Paralegal Studies from Pioneer Pacific College in 2014. Brittany has supported attorneys in various private firms and for the State’s public appellate defense office. At Schaleger Philpott, she fulfills attorneys needs primarily in family law and also dependency law.

In her free time, Brittany hikes, reads, practices photography and nerds out on music and art. She explores and appreciates the incredible PNW with her husband and bloodhound dog, Lucy.
