LeAnna Erickson is Oregon born and raised in the Pacific Northwest. She attended Central Washington University for her undergraduate studies and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Law & Justice with a minor in Family Studies in 2005.
Prior to attending law school, she was employed by the Oregon Department of Human Services from 2010 to 2016 where she worked in a multitude of counties including Clackamas and Marion County. She had several roles including Child Welfare Permanency caseworker which fueled her passion to pursue juvenile law.
LeAnna attended the prestigious Northwestern School of Law at Lewis and Clark College and graduated with her law degree in May 2019. Her focus in law school was mainly on Criminal Law and Juvenile Law. While in law school, LeAnna worked as a law clerk with Oregon Department of Justice Child Advocacy Section, the agency which represents Department of Human Services in Dependency cases. In her final year of law school, she interned at the Clackamas County District Attorney’s office handling adult misdemeanor criminal matters. She gained invaluable experience charging, negotiating, and handling trials on a variety of misdemeanor cases.
Through hard work and dedication, LeAnna was able to sit for the early bar exam and therefore was sworn in as a licensed attorney shortly after graduation in May 2019. In June 2019, LeAnna was hired as an associate with Schaleger Philpott where she handles juvenile matters including dependency cases and juvenile delinquency cases for the firm.
When LeAnna is not working she enjoys spending time with her husband, their five children, four cats, and husky.
